What’s it like to be a wildlife photographer
So what’s it like to be a wildlife photographer?
In the first in our series with wildlife photographer Aaron Northcott he talks about what’s it’s really like to be a wildlife photographer. Aaron came with us on our recent adventure to Wales mainly to photograph the amazing wildlife we’d encounter but we also thought it was a great opportunity to get the inside scoop from Aaron on what it takes to do his job and some practical tips on equipment and how to take better photos.
We often think that you’d need to travel to far off lands to snap some unusual and elusive wildlife but Wales presented us with some fantastic opportunities, seals, ospreys and some buffalo!
Aaron’s kind of the ideal person to do this. He’s an amazing wildlife photographer but he’s also passionate about what he does. So much so that when not behind the lense taking pictures for people like us he’s teaching photographic and post-processing skills to budding amateur and professionals looking to polish their craft.
Make sure you stay peeled to our blog and Facebook page for part 2 and 3 in the series where Aaron talks us through what’s in his kit bag and his top 5 tips for getting the best photo’s you can when on a trip.
