Costa Rica: A Green and Peaceful Land
Costa Rica is one of few destinations with a strong claim to be the EC team’s favourite destination – offering more opportunities for wildlife per square mile than anywhere else in the world. It is literally the most biologically intense place on earth!
Does ecotourism work? Costa Rica has tried to answer that question on the largest of scales! So, I headed out at the start of April 2018, to see for myself alongside two other EC Journalists Andy Trace (Filmmaker) and Kiri Nowak (Writer).
Horseback riding through the rainforest, canopy high battles with howler monkeys, releasing baby sea turtles – see for yourself how things turned out…
The best way to support the wildlife and organisations you’ve seen in this film is easy: go out to see them for yourself!
- 00:27 – 1:00 – El Establo Mountain Lodge
- 01:20 – 06:38 – Selva Bananito Lodge
- 06:48 – 14:40 – Osa Peninsula Conservation project (7 nights, 14 nights, 1 month)
- 14:50 – 15:07 – Hotel Bosque Del Mar
